Week 31/32

The most interesting part of this class was when we were reading the story Catcher in the Rye. This story was really cool (up until the ending of course.) it all kind of reminded me of the movie Forrest Gump. This is because both of them are told in a past tense. This being as he is telling someone the story. They both also have that horrible "and that's all I have to say about that" ending. of course, Forrest Gump does continue on after that in modern time.
The least interesting part of this class is a tie between the blogs, the speech, and the essays (the ones for this class and senior seminar.) The blogs in truth aren't that bad, its just I don't always know what to write for them. The speech isn't that hard if you actually have experiences to help give you advice to the eighth graders. The essays were just horrible all in all.
The hardest I laughed in this class would have to be when we were reading Catcher in the Rye (and other stories.) There was some pretty funny moments where he would say something that goes with a inside joke I knew or just sounded funny or wrong.
My favorite memory of this class is just the amounts of joy we have in there. The times where our entire class laughs together. The moments where everyone works together (even some of the times when there is some friendly competition going on.)
The best thing about Ms. Hoodson, is the fact that she is always a fun teacher. She isn't super nitpicky or anything with anyone. The only time she isn't a fun teacher is when you don't turn in your work. (This happened to me way to often.)
Something that would make this class better is to not have the speech involved. Now there we are talking about not involving stuff, take out the essays too. And you should also add in some Casey's trips.
Final Comment: This won't be my last sadly.
